Snooping new connections (as you do) but I'm descended from Gloucestershire Garlands! Mine are a bit further back than yours - my most recent Garland ancestor is Charlotte Garland, b. Mangotsfield 1793 who married Thomas Cordy in 1814. It would be bizarre if its the same family.
