Elanor's flat is now very warm...
I've not long got back from a fun weekend in London at ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
elanor's flat-warming party. Her new place is very nice - it actually has a living room.
I went down on Friday, having taken the day off work. Elanor very kindly said I could turn up whenever I liked, so since my bag was heavy with wine and chocolate cake, I went straight there. There I met elanor's flatmatejooseta, who was very welcoming, and makes excellent poached eggs. After a certain amount of clearing up and dismantling wardrobes, it was time for others to arrive, including sigisgrim and amalion.
We left for Snape's pub, where we met lots more people, had good food and wine,amalion chatted up the Australian bar-staff and I discovered that Pride is delicious. Then back to the flat, where we played a Song of Ice and Fire boardgame until half past three or so. At that point, we old ones decided it was time we got some sleep, so the others went upstairs to watch movies.
Saturday was a quieter day of sitting around and chatting, with people coming and going all day. We got to watch Doctor Who with a large group of fans, which was great - even though the physics at the beginning broke Elanor's brain. :-)
Another late night of watching a very bad killer monkey film, and then it was time to come back, having met some very nice people and generally hung out with fans, which is always a fun way to spend the weekend.
