So I said yesterday that my parents are in good health, and to be fair, they usually are for their age. Occasionally Dad gets something that our ancestors might have referred to as a bilious attack, which he did overnight, though he seems much better now.

So I didn't make our fortnightly trip to the supermarket, which I usually do first thing in the morning to reduce the need to queue, and will need to go tomorrow. Fortunately, I haven't been shopping efficiently enough that that would be a problem, we can last another day. 😀

Good to hear your Dad's okay.

I'm trying to keep my grocery shopping to every two weeks too. It's been an adjustment.

My mother used to do our shopping, while I was at work - but she's nearly 80, so I've been doing it since the middle of March. If nothing else, I may come out of this a bit better domesticated. 😀

Glad your father seems all right; and that you have kept trips to the supermarket down to fortnightly. We are nowhere near that!

Oh, I can't pretend it's the only time I set foot in a shop - but it's the only time in a big supermarket with lots of other people, rather than small local shops.

We usually do supermarket trips late at night, for similar reasons!

Yes, thank you, he's absolutely fine now.

It was definitely busier Thursday, but whether that was the result of lockdown changes, or because I usually go on a Wednesday I'm not sure.
