As for me, it appears to be my mobile phone, which I suppose I could use in much the same way, given that the wallpaper on it consists of a very small semi-somnolent silver tabby kitten. :-)

My contribution is a bookcase. (Or if you don't want that, a wall, a doorframe, another wall, or a wildly out of control, strange, pointy-branched tree - take your pick. We could use the bookcase as a battering ram, it's a sturdy Ikea one!)

Currently on my left:
- an empty tupperware (previously holding three pears), with various bits of rubbish on top of it
- a part-empty (or, depending on your point of view, part-full*) bottle of milk
- a mug with a picture of XH558** on it
- and behind those, various bits of paper that you really don't want enumerated.

*Or, possibly, "Hey, I ordered cheeseburger!"
