A (water) glass with sunflowers on it, which I bought at Schipol 20 years ago.

It is empty.

To the left of that, the holder for my audio/microphone headset.

It is empty.

So I will either bore them to death with my audio-typed wittering, or 'bottle' them, or just, possibly, through a tenuous Van Gogh linkage, await the arrival of the Doctor.

If you've got a way of summoning the Doctor, I think you are probably the one with the most chance of surviving. :-)

The glass might do well as a weapon in the meantime, unless you have to keep it carefully unbroken to make sure the message gets through.
