Nature and photography challenge meme - Day 5

A flowering tree that hangs over the pavement from one of the gardens between home and town. I don't know what it is but I think it's pretty. :-) There's another lilac coloured one a bit further down the road.

Not just lilac coloured - that *is* a lilac :-)

I never claimed to be good at plants... Thank you, I shall know that in future.

I'm sure when I've seen pictures of lilacs the flowers have been vertical rather than horizontal, but I guess that's an artefact of them being cut rather than still growing. And I didn't know that there were ones that weren't lilac coloured.

So far, I've seen lilac colored, light pink, purple, light blue and white.

I guess I've become one of those annoying green thumbs. :)

:-) I like flowers, but a green thumb I certainly don't have.
