Mmmm - Nandos

I've been a big fan of Nandos since my brother took me to their restaurant in Luton a couple of years ago. One finally opened in Cheltenham last week, and we took the opportunity to go on Saturday evening. Just as good as ever and very busy, so I do hope it will be a success. We took a friend who hadn't eaten there before, as part of our campaign to convert the people of Cheltenham. ;-)

Then on Sunday evening I went to visit gayalondiel and help her watch Stargate unpack boxes. We saw the first Rodney McKay episode and it really was interesting seeing the seeds of the character he became. I remember finding him very annoying at the time - but less so now. I think Atlantis has shown that yes, he is arrogant and socially inept, but he also has the genuine brains and heart to back that up - something that was less obvious with his 5-10 mins screen time in this episode. All credit to David Hewlett for a performance memorable enough to become a Major Character.
