I'm still not online at home - or at least wasn't on Thursday when I left, but I'm staying with friends for the weekends and have stolen their PC to keep up with the hundreds of messages you busy, wonderful people have been leaving.
Today we spent the day in the New Forest - which had less trees than I was expecting but quite a number of ponies - and then went down to the beach at Mudeford, where I got to paddle. This was unlike my visit to Weston-Super-Mud earlier in the week, where it was far too windy to go on the beach, and in any case the sea was positively brown from the sand turned up by the heavy rain the night before. (Yes, there was sea, we actually got there at high tide ;-))
I'll be home tomorrow, so I'll see if they've sorted the connection in the meantime.
