Icons and RL
Dec. 14th, 2007 07:40 pmIt's a busy week on my flist - congratulations to those of you who are expecting babies and *hugs* to everyone with medical issues.
I'm working tomorrow, so I had the day off today and this morning Mum and I decided to make up for last weekend and go the the Farmers' Market in Gloucester. It's right in the centre of the city, around the Cross and there was quite a good turnout, even though it was miserably cold. I bought handmade soap for Grandma, and Rhubarb and Ginger wine for us. We also found some excellent bread and cake for the weekend. Just to make the visit appropriately educational, I was confronted by Brussels sprouts on their stalks, therefore showing off my townie status - it had never previously occurred to me to wonder how sprouts grew, just how I could get out of eating them. ;-)
After I posted that Teyla screencap last week as part of my SGA picspam, I decided I wanted an icon but couldn't quite decide on the text. Then I realised I still didn't have a Martha Jones icon, partly because I hadn't found one I liked - and before I knew where I was I'd started on a series.
