A wonderful live theatre performance
Aug. 19th, 2020 09:34 pmFor any of my Tolkien friends who haven't seen the announcement, and for anyone who enjoys live theatre.
The Puppet State one man show of Leaf by Niggle is truly magical, a captivating mix of thought-provoking and heart-warming. I've seen it twice, and I'm really looking forward to the chance to see it again. Now for £10 you can watch it streaming at home between the 25-31st of August, and support a lovely small theatre group at the same time.

There are various other options including a Q&A session and the option to watch their other popular show The Man Who Planted Trees, which I haven't seen, but is also very well reviewed.
(If you don't know it, Leaf by Niggle is a stand-alone short story that Tolkien wrote, not set in Middle-earth, about creativity and procrastination.)
