As a Georgette Heyer fan from my teens on, I am in the middle of a re-read of them for the umpteenth time, I have always found Napolean, the Peninsular War and the general period fascinating. I have not read the Bernard Sharpe Waterloo, but gave Gurthaew a copy of a more academic book concerning Waterloo for his birthday and will read it once he has.
