New gadget
Nov. 27th, 2006 09:48 pmI've never been a big user of mobile phones, they're useful when travelling but I've never got into the texting culture. So my previous mobile has lasted me six years - it was boring and blocky but it did the job.
Recently I've been aware of how many more features are available on Pay as You Go phones for a reasonable price. My brother has also been using the Tesco network for a year or so and been very happy with it. So when I went to Tesco on Saturday and saw they had a camera phone for less than £40 on their network I decided it was time for an upgrade.

So far, I'm really enjoying playing with it - colour screen, camera and even web access. I can also leave it switched on in my bag without being concerned about it making random phone calls - unlike my old one.
I'm just trying not to become one of those people who sit around in restaurants ignoring the people around them in favour of playing with their phone. :-)
