Nostalgic grumbling

I still miss the old days on LJ. :-(

I'm very grateful to all of you who keep posting here, and making my friends page worth reading - I'm afraid I've got too discouraged by a combination of not having much of interest to post about, and the fast food interaction of immediately discussing it on Facebook. It's fun at the time, but you can't go back to it later - it's a poor substitute, but when that's where the people you are closest to are posting, what can you do? And Tumblr, which is where most of the fandom part of my old LJ experience has moved to, is even worse for actually having conversations.

*shakes cane and resolves to try and post here more often*

Trying to put my money where my mouth is - 3 things I liked and hoped you might too.

1. The Comfortable Courtesan, a serial story by oursin being posted at madame_c_c/the_comfortable_courtesan

3. I realised that I never did a Festivids rec post, as I have in previous years. I'll try to rectify that soon, but in the meantime you can find all of them on the Festivids site, sorted by year and by fandom.
