sally_mariaI opened an LJ account to read a WIP story.
I made an icon/userpic of Daniel Jackson from a picture I already had on my computer, and expected to do little more than lurk.
10 years later, I've had some great times, when it was the main hub for my RL fan friends group, and when I actually started interacting with other Merlin fans. These days a lot of people have moved on, and I must admit that Dreamwidth really feels like my online journal home now, even though I've carried on cross-posting and still have a number of good friends who post regularly.
As long as you guys are still around, I'm not going anywhere, and I hope our community will continue. :-)
