To start with I really ought to encourage all of you Stargate fans to go and find
gayalondiel's song-vids. She's got a real gift for choosing appropriate (and original) songs and a great sense of timing. I particularly love "Men In Black", an SG-1 team vid and "Switched to Overload", which is a great choice of song for a Menace vid, but they are all really good. You can find them here.
I seem to have been reading a lot of hobbit stories recently, these are some of the ones I have really enjoyed.
The Jewels of the Sea - "a fourth age hobbit fic" about the Fairbairns in the Westmarch and the adventure that comes from one of them being named Earendil.
Crowned with Glory - a short piece about Frodo's thoughts as he carried the crown at Aragorn's coronation.
Pippin's Charge to Eowyn - Pippin leaves for the Black Gate but he knows that Merry has a friend.
and finally a story that isn't yet finished but has a lot of material to read already and some beautiful illustrations.
A Secret Gate - about Merry and Pippin as they prepare to leave the Shire for the last time but also their lives and families up to that point.
