sally_mariaI know quite a few of you have seen and enjoyed Firefly, and I was very pleased to find two stories that link it with LotR in interesting ways.
Healing is a more traditional cross-over, though it's a scene without long-drawn out explanations; Simon and River at the Houses of Healing after the Battle of the Pelennor Fields.
Of Kings and Hairy Feet is an indication of just what has survived from the "Earth That Was" into the far future of the Firefly universe. When Serenity's crew has a couple of days to spend, waiting in space, they decide to play a traditional game - "Rings".
