Date: 2006-02-08 04:50 pm (UTC)From all the results I've seen of everyone who has done this meme (admittedly not a huge amount) everyone gets the red shirt in second place. I wonder why? Or maybe it is just the ones I've seen.

A lot of these quizzes are skewed to an extent, I think. But they're still great fun.
Cool icon, BTW. Very nice.

Date: 2006-02-08 05:42 pm (UTC)I personally don't see H/W slash (or any slash or het relationship),but it's one of those shows where I can easily see how people can see it. I've even read the odd story or two.
Do you have a pairing? I see from your user info that you like both House and Wilson, but I don't like to presume.

Date: 2006-02-08 07:34 pm (UTC)On the other hand, I also enjoy House/Cuddy - I don't think it's any more likely than House/Wilson to happen in the show but I love the fact that she is the one person besides Wilson that House will actually listen to (sometimes). They have sparks and mutual respect (however cloaked in insult and innuendo) and that's what I most often enjoy in a het pairing: e.g. Buffy/Spike, Daniel/Vala, Jack O'Neill/Janet.
I must admit, I really don't like House/Cameron - the whole pining over the boss thing is far too reminiscent of Sam/Jack from SG-1, which is probably my least favourite pairing ever.
Sorry - long ramble in answer to a short question. I do enjoy reading gen about all the characters as well, though my favourite gen story is still about House and Wilson, though not in the least slashy.

Date: 2006-02-09 04:46 pm (UTC)Yes, I too like House's relationship with Cuddy and if he did take up with another woman, I'd say she would be jolly good for him. They certainly do have sparks and their relationship is a good one.
I can see, as I said, how people can see H/W, as there are lots of little things, some more overt than others, but there is certainly something there. I think of all the pairs who I don't see but can see how people see, if I let myself I could probably get into this pairing, as I really like both characters.
Never apologise. I love talking about fandom, even if they aren't mine - and it's even better when I know the show in question and love it too.
FWIW, I also really love Buffy and Angel and although we see a different het pair ('fraid I'm Buffy/Angel), the shows are superb.

Off now to write some deep and meaningful plays.
