Some actual good news for Christmas

So, as I said a couple of months ago, missing out on seeing these guys live was one of my disappointments this year, so I was thrilled to hear that they were planning on doing a live Christmas special, to make up for all the concerts they had to cancel. As I was pretty unlikely to see a Christmas show, unless I travelled to the US, that was great news. As independent artists, they don't have a record company to fund these things, so they set up a crowd-funder, as you'll see in the video. What you can't tell is the 9 hours it took from the launch to fully funded. :-)

So that's one thing I definitely have to look forward to this Christmas.

I mean, I'm not surprised they raised the money, I know how many of us both want to support them and really want to see an official recorded performance, but I think all of us were blown away by just how fast. 😀
