I know quite a number of you use Firefox, and having been inspired by a discussion on the firefoxusers comm I thought I'd ask.

How many extensions do you use?
Do you have a favourite - one you'd find particularly hard to live without?
Is there an extension that you think should be more widely known?
What's the most useless extension you've used/come across?

Enabled Extensions: [23]

I think my favourite is Tab Mix Plus - it gives me such a lot of useful features, such as controlling how and where tabs open. I get very confused when I use Firefox without it.

I haven't heard a lot of people talking about Save Link/Image in Folder, but I find them incredibly useful. No more clicking up and down through directory trees to find the one you need for that kind of download - just right click and select from a list, icons here, wallpapers there, vids somewhere else.

I managed to find a hosts file early on that blocks a lot of the most annoying ad content, and I'm just not bothered by text ads - they're pretty easy to ignore. So I don't quite get the enthusiam for all the various blocking extensions Adblock, Flashblock etc. I'm sure a lot of people find them useful, but they leave me cold.

DownThemAll is quite good if you need a download manager, and FoxyTunes if you listen to music while surfing the web.

But I think SessionSaver's the best out there. That and Restart Firefox (together, they both make installing new themes and extensions far less hassle). SessionSaver keeps your browser exactly as you left it when it shuts down. :)
