I'm obviously not good at making things up, because

-When I was in the Sixth Form, my Saturday job was at the local library. True
-My Dad learnt Russian while doing his National Service. True
-My first online fandom was the X-Files. False - I never really did X-Files, Buffy was my first online fandom.
-I've never played in an orchestra. False - I played the timpani in the school orchestra
-I've never been to North (or South) America. True
-I once played Jane Eyre in a local amateur production. False - I was Eliza, one of the evil cousins.
And after LJ Hook brought up this icon I remembered I really ought to point out this crossover.
Where Did All the Physics Go? by Amireal It is a Sheppard/McKay slash story, but even if that isn't your pairing of choice you really ought to read this - McKay lecturing Scotty on how the laws of physics in his universe are all wrong is worth the price of admission by itself. :-)
