Presents, yay!

I'm working Saturday this week, which I'm not entirely looking forward to - the last Saturday before term starts is almost as bad as Christmas.

On the other hand I've been receiving all sorts of nice things through the post, so it's not all bad. Yesterday I got a completely unexpected parcel from Australia, some special handmade soap sent home by na_lon and the_marquis. A really lovely surprise. :-)

This morning I got my VividCon discs, four DVDs of vids made by some of the best vidders working today. Well worth the cost of a supporting membership for the con, and I'm very happy to make a contribution to an event that encourages vidders and vidding. I'm enjoying the chance to see some of my new favourite vids on the TV and particularly the Club Vivid playlist.

I will do a proper vid post later but in the meantime all the Atlantis fans who haven't seen Another Sunday by jescaflowne really ought to check it out. Such a fun vid -sparkles, cheesy 80s music and lots of funny Joe Flanigan faces - it's brilliant. :-)

Ooh, thanks for the vid rec. I grinned a huge cheesy grin the whole time I watched it. Then watched it a second time and grinned even more. :-D

I glad to hear you liked it - SGA is a fandom that has inspired a lot of fun vids, but I think this is one of the best so far.
