It has been a bit of a disappointing weekend. Mum and I planned to visit Stroud Farmers Market this morning, since it was my last free weekend before Christmas, but the weather was so unpleasant - pouring and blowing a gale - and I'm currently full of cold, so we decided we'd better not go.

So I was very pleased to read elanor_isolda's account of her marathon viewing of SG-1, and her asking whether she should be watching Atlantis.

So I thought it might be nice to come up with some good reasons why she should. :-)

The Teyla pic is from The Seer, I just cropped Martin Jarvis's shoulder out of the shot. It is a lovely image, isn't it - the light was lovely, and guess she must be getting to the "glowing" stage.

And while Daniel Jackson has a strong hold on my heart, Rodney is definitely my second favourite TV character ever. :-)

Somebody did a set of screen caps from Tao of Rodney, and it's one of those (unfortunately I didn't make a note of who it was).

There were several shots of Rodney in the chair, but that was the best one, I thought. :-)

Yay Zelenka!

Of course the only reason needed is that it's good, dramatic and funny in equal measure, and that can't be said for most current TV fare.

Took Rachael long enough to catch up though - I screened the movie for her nearly two years ago.

Very true - I was just indulging my inner fangirl.

I lent her season 2 about 18 months ago, but I think she's really got into it in the last couple of months.
