Christmas :-) and icons

I decided it was time to go for a Christmas look on my journal, including the Santa hats. There are some really nice Christmas themes this year, but mine did require a certain amount of tweaking as it didn't display right in Firefox/Flock. Still, it's all good to learn these things and s2expressive can be incredibly helpful.

I also wanted to thank everyone who has sent me a Christmas card, they've been lovely. In particular, thank you to pavaneofstars for the cross-stitch decoration - that was such a nice surprise when I got in from work yesterday. Two Saturdays before Christmas is not a nice time to work in retail and it did a lot to calm me down and restore my faith in human nature. :-)

Deplacement activity is a wonderful thing at this time of year, and so my icon making has progressed. After my female heroes earlier in the week, here are the guys.

We obviously crossed in the post, and the Post Office were more efficient than they thought, since they said Wednesday was the last day for guaranteed Christmas delivery.
