As planned I went to stay with sigisgrim and amalion last weekend. amalion and her niece met me from the train on Friday morning and we spent the day looking in the Rag Market, admiring iPods and drinking coffee, until it was time to meet elanor from her train. We drank more coffee, then got the bus to meet sigisgrim. I was feeling tired but didn't think anything of it - I know I don't always get enough sleep.

Saturday I carried out my threat to teach sigisgrim Magic, and we got on quite well - he even beat me once. :-) We also provided a certain amount of amusement for spectators, who were interested in the powers of the Rabid Wombat and the fact that Carnivorous Plants can't fly. In the meantime elanor made a good start on her costume for Oxonmoot, which will be excellent but I shan't spoil. rustica arrived in time for a late dinner, and spent Sunday morning planning shoes.

Unfortunately I was starting to feel unwell and by Sunday afternoon was feeling I ought to cut the weekend short. sigisgrim very kindly drove me home, which was much appreciated. I went straight to bed and slept mostly until it was time to ring in sick to work - only having eaten some toast in the previous 24 hours, I thought I'd better not risk it.

I'm much better and my head is no longer hurting, which is a big step in the right direction. I'm sure I'll be back at work tomorrow, but in the meantime I'll have time to catch up on LJ.

And just to boost the comment count - I've got a spare Rabid Wombat you can have. I don't know whether they are still in the basic set or not, so you might struggle to find one.
